HYUNA KEEPING IT SIMPLE

I can't get over how good HyunA looks in this outfit of hers at New York Fashion Week.

She attended the Rebecca Minkoff runway show at Lincoln Center on the 5th of September in a chic monochrome outfit with a pop of red lips.

Her outfit consist of a leather biker jacket over a white flowy and tiered tank top and a pair of tight black pants. She chose a black quilted Rebecca Minkoff clutch to go with her simple outfit and dark iridescent pumps to complete her look.

Normally, fashionistas like to go all out at NYFW in order to stand out of the crowd of fashion people. However, I love that HyunA chose to go for a classic and chic outfit instead.

ON SHOW FILE: STYLE LOG NEW MCs

OnStyle's popular program Style Log has brought in three new MCs - Lee Kikwang, Heo Gayoon and Do Sangwoo. I personally loved Lee Soohyuk and Hong Jonghyun as MCs on the show but I believe these three MCs will bring in more audiences for the show given their huge popularity.

On this first episode for the new MCs, they dropped by a multilabel designers' boutique called Tom Greyhound Downstairs in Sinsadong, Seoul, which was stated is frequently visited by stars like G-Dragon, Kang Dongwon, Lee Nayoung and Gong Hyojin.

Whilst there, they each tried out two different outfits and as a fashion blogger, I'm thankful for the show for stating the initials of the clothing brands worn on the show. However, as I'm still an amateur in this, it took me a long time to identify everything.

Anyways, from this episode, we were introduced to each of the MCs fashion style, their preferences and a bit of their personalities. 

While Gayoon has more of a tomboyish style, Kikwang and Sangwoo both said they prefer monochrome coloured, casual yet stylish clothing. In other words, a bit like the normcore trend.

I can't wait to see what more these three MCs has to offer for the show and I certainly am excited to see more fashion items that they are going to sport on this show!

2ECOND FLOOR FASHION

The beautiful Hyuna and Gayoon attended the opening event of 2econd Floor, which is an up and coming Korean women's clothing brand.

If you've watched the Korean drama, It's Okay, It's Love (괜찮아, 사랑이야) with Gong Hyo Jin starring in it, you'll notice many of their pieces worn by the actress herself as she is currently the face of the brand!

At this event, Gayoon went for a tomboyish look with a white collared shirt , a pair of boyfriend jeans and completed her look with a pair of white heels.

On the other hand, Hyuna went for a feminine look with an intricate jacquard design dress paired with a pair of black chunky heels worn with black socks. 

They were both styling some pretty dainty accessories as well.

PINK STATEMENT HEELS

HyunA is charismatic both on stage and off stage. 

From watching her reality show, MTV Free Month, and from going through some photos taken of her off stage, she seems to always gravitate towards a more simple and monochrome outfit. 

However, she never lets her outfits be boring. 

On the 7th of August, while heading to a recording, she spices up her simple outfit of a black tee and jeans with a pair of bright pink leopard print ankle wrap high stiletto heels. 

She also wore a pair of big mirrored square framed sunglasses and carried a Louis Vuitton Noefull MM bag.

HYUNA: CHAMPION IN VERSUS

HyunA was crowned the winner of this week's Show Champion on the 6th of August! For her stage of her title song 'RED', she wore a few iconic pieces from Versus Versace.

In just a simple white blouse with Versus' safety pin details on one side and a pair of leopard-print shorts, HyunA still manage to ooze of sexiness during her performance. She paired her monochrome outfit with bright red lips and gold jewelry (earrings) to dress up her casual outfit.
