In this post, there is an item from one of the sponsors of the show which is GREY YANG.

That particular item is an oversized shirt and Gong Hyojin wore a lot oversized button-down shirts in this series, mostly as comfy lounge-wear, which looks so good on her. They were so hard for me to identify because most button-down shirts look similar! But I'm guessing that this particular shirt is one from GREY YANG.

Through doing this series of posts on It's Okay It's Love, I've learned so much about some local Korean clothing brands that are less known to people living outside of Korea and it has been so fun looking through their look books and collections; and to learn more about the current fashion trends going on in Korea at the moment. I hope you guys learnt some useful information from these posts too~

I do realise that the dress Gong Hyojin is wearing is a long sleeve dress but this is the most similar dress I could find. I've never come across many Marni dresses before and while looking for this piece, I saw how many pretty and funky floral patterns the brand has!

And I love the collection of ribbon necklaces that they have; they are the perfect statement piece to an outfit.

괜찮아 사랑이야 (It's Okay, It's Love) #1

Popular Korean drama 괜찮아 사랑이야 (It's Okay, It's Love) ended last week with a total of 16 episodes. I watched all of it and loved it. Ji Haesoo and Jang Jaeyeol is definitely my favourite fictional couple in k-drama history!

After I finished watching it, I decided that I will feature the outfits Gong Hyojin wore on this blog! There were a lot of outfits that she wore throughout the show (I have screen-caps of more than 50 outfits!) and they will be split into multiple posts.

I probably won't be able to identify and find every single item she wore but I will try my best as I know that a lot of items became really popular and sold out very fast after Gong Hyojin wore them on the show. This proves how much of a trendsetter and a style icon she is!

There are certain brands of clothing that she wore frequently throughout the series, for example, 2econd Floor (as she is the ambassador of the brand) and pushButton. Korean accessory brand, J.ESTINA was one of the sponsors of the drama, therefore their jewelry and purses were featured throughout the show as well.

Overall, Gong Hyojin's character Ji Haesoo had a mature style to suit her age and her easy-going personality. She was seen in more loose fitting office-wear such as patterned shirts, straight-cut pants and culottes. She was also seen sporting her signature 70's casual look with a pair of bell bottom jeans which accentuated her long legs. Besides all that, it was really fun to see her in some comfy home-wear clothing as well.

All in all, she played this character so well and wore all these outfits so effortlessly like they were meant to be hers. Her stylist has been amazing for putting together so many fantastic outfits to go along with Ji Haesoo's personality.
